Lisa T. Kirkland, O.D., P.C.
Dr. Kirkland is a Board Certified optometrist. This certification recognizes her commitment to professional lifelong learning in order to deliver excellent optometric care. Dr. Kirkland believes everyone deserves an accurate ocular health assessment and explanation of their condition. She has enjoyed practicing primary care optometry for 20 years.
Dr Kirkland received a Bachelors in Visual Science and a Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. |
During her internship, she received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease including glaucoma management , co management of Diabetics, and Cataract patients at St. Albans/Brooklyn VA Hospital, New York. She holds a special interest in hard to fit contact lenses for Keratoconus.
Dr. Kirkland participates in VSP Sight for Students program, volunteers with Prevent Blindness America, and is a member of the National Glaucoma Society. In the community she known for performing vision screenings at local Health Fairs in churches and recreation centers.
